A dream cottage in the middle of the forest is the perfect
place to write sensual, paranormal romances and live out
your fantasies. Especially when the big, bad wolf comes
knocking on your door.
McKenzi Towers writes paranormal romances and has reached
the peak of success where she purchases her dream cottage
deep in the woods of a small town in Virginia. Having
escaped the monotonous grind of city living, she longs to
relax, enjoy the fresh air and freedom, and get back to her
computer to meet upcoming deadlines. The last thing she
expects is a "big bad wolf" scratching at her door, and she
immediately fears for her life and safety. But the soulful
brown eyes and pitiful whine convince her he’s actually very
gentle and simply in need of love and affection.
Accepting the wolf as a part of nature, McKenzi is quite
content with the new life she’s found…until she encounters a
handsome, brown-eyed stranger in the middle of the woods who
quickly shakes her out of her complacency.
Daniel Braddock takes her breath away and with her, her
inhibitions. Falling hard and fast, McKenzi is ecstatic to
have found her dream lover, but still, something doesn’t
seem quite right. Though Danny is sensual, giving, and
uninhibited, he possesses certain traits that both alarm and
fascinate McKenzi. And when she discovers a birthmark on
Danny’s thigh that exactly matches the one she remembers
seeing on the wolf’s hind leg, McKenzi begins to think the
unthinkable.
